Tokyo, Japan

Tweet #TwitterStories
Architecture in Tokyo has largely been shaped by its own history. Twice in recent history of the metropolis were left in ruins: first in the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 and later, after intense bombing of World War II.
Because of this, the urban landscape of Tokyo is one of modern and contemporary architecture, and older buildings are scarce.
In Ueno Park, there is the Tokyo National Museum, the largest museum in the country and specializes in traditional Japanese art, the National Museum of Western Art, National Museum of Science and Ueno Zoo. Other museums include the Nezu Art Museum in Aoyama, the Edo-Tokyo Museum in Sumida, across the Sumida River from downtown Tokyo and the National Diet Library, National Archives and the National Museum of Modern Art, which are close to

Imperial Palace.
Tokyo has many theaters for the performing arts. These include national and private theaters where you have pieces of traditional Japanese theater (like Noh and Kabuki), as well as modern drama. Symphony orchestras interpret modern and traditional music. The wave Japanese POP and International Rock International reached Tokyo, which performances take place in locations ranging in private clubs and outdoor spaces- the ARENAS, known as the Nippon Budokan.
Many different festivals occur in Tokyo. Major events include the Sanno at Hie Shrine, the Sanja at Asakusa Shrine, and the biennial Kanda Festivals. The last features a parade with floats decorated richly, to which thousands of people attend.
The food in Tokyo is internationally recognized. In November 2007, Michelin released their guide cuisine in Tokyo, giving a total of 191 stars, which reptresenta double stars of the nearest competitor. Eight establishments were awarded the maximum three stars (Paris has 10), 25 received two stars and 117 earned one star. Of the eight restaurants are classified, three offer traditional Japanese dinner much sought after, two are sushi houses and three serve French cuisine.

Curiosity
In Japan, one way to show satisfaction and appreciation for food is to make noise by chewing food. So if you go to Japan and are invited to dinner you know how to proceed.
You should not serve the drink yourself. It is a tradition and a habit to expect to be served and serve the other person.
